Master Mark Wakeling is the founder of Scoprions Muay Thai. He has studied the sport from some of the greatest trainers across the world and has showcased his own skills on some of the largest platforms in Thailand. He has spent years dedicating his time to increasing his knowledge in both practicing and teaching, and his understanding of the sport is second to none. Known for staying true to many of the traditions, Mark’s style of teaching is truly authentic. He teaches the open sessions as well as private sessions.

Michael runs our main open sessions but is also available for private sessions throughout the day for men,women and children. His years of experience in the ring make him capable of training elite level fighters, but his friendly and patient nature means that he is well suited to training complete beginners to both Muay Thai and fitness in general.

Steve holds eight world titles to date but his ability to connect with students of all experiences is still prominent. HIs unique yet simple way of teaching is suitable for those looking to get fit, improve technique or learn more about the sport. He has proven himself against some of the biggest names in Muay Thai across the world and is as good an instructor as he is a fighter. Our resident Thai trainer, Deaw, is an instructor from the world-famous Sitsongpeenong gym in Thailand, and is with us for six months. He offers experience in both fighting and teaching, and brings a touch of Thailand to both our open and private sessions.

Amanda is the instructor for the women only classes, and being a full-time health and fitness journalist for Women’s Fitness magazine, she is always up to date with the latest ways for women to get fit, burn fat and tone up. She brings a passion for healthy living to the gym.

Sarah is a fitness fanatic who brings enthusiasm to the women only classes. She is interested in getting women fit and healthy in the most enjoyable way possible.
